Menninger [Link]
Sunday, January 10, 2016
Bart Menninger used to be the producer for the Panzish rock band Gewi Cane Panze. His t-shirt is of GCP's 2011 album "Iron Bandicoot" which he produced. "Sunrise Jumper," incorrectly spelled on the other guy's shirt, is an instrumental piece, the 8th and final track on that album.
"On My Neck" together with Bart Menninger's fist is probably a reference to Metallica's 2003 album "St. Anger." Lead guitarist Snelly Bardhard himself has stated that the members of the band have always been huge fans of Metallica, and they have even covered them lots of times during their live shows.
In the end of 2015, Menninger decided to step down as GCP's producer, and their next album -- coming out this fall -- will be produced by George Spock, a very well-known Panzish producer, instead.
